Most of us perform best under pressure, but not when the pressure is constant. In the world of sport, the right recovery is essential to create top results, but we often forget that in everyday life. It's as if in business we think we can continue to be brilliant even if we work 10 hours a day and skip our breaks. But it doesn't last long. At least not without techniques to give the brain the peace it needs. Together with my brother, Arne Nielsson, I have developed a completely unique lecture where Arne gives the participants tools and inspiration for high performance. I provide insight into the value of mental recovery and how alternating with deep calm increases creativity and job satisfaction. What will your team get from a lecture or workshop? A clear message about how just a small degree of stress impairs your quality of life and how it affects your performance. It will also become clear how, by alternating between high and low gear, step by step you get out of the gray zone and become more present and mentally sharp. Most people work well under pressure and like to be busy - especially when it's fun. But when there is too much pressure for too long, no one functions optimally. Most of us can manage to be in high gear for a long time, but are really bad at relaxing and doing nothing. If you are under great pressure for many hours every day, your performance will be much better if you alternate with, for example, meditation. It is about stimulating both the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. At this lecture, your employees will get concrete tools to work with afterwards. Training the brain Arne Nielsson has worked with mental training for more than 30 years. And mental training was one of the most important prerequisites for him becoming world champion in canoe rowing 10 times. The brain is a muscle and works best when challenged. After his long sports career, Arne has developed a number of principles and models for mental training, which he passes on in lectures, workshops and coaching. Arne will make the participants ready for change and give them models to get out of the comfort zone and review what it takes to create top performance. Arne will also talk about how people in a team or in a company can play well with each other. Arne has become a 10-time world champion and Olympic silver medalist in canoeing and since 1996 has worked as a professional coach and lecturer for primarily business and sports people. On the subject of "The will to win", he has lectured to more than 150,000 people. Arne has been named the year's inspirer several times. After more than 20 years as an entrepreneur and manager, Brian Nielsson has developed some simple principles and tools to maintain mental sharpness even in a demanding environment. Most people ride in too high a gear, and for too long, without breaks, and the high gear has gotten higher in recent years. If you implement intense tools for recovery, such as meditation, you will experience a completely different energy, overview and mental strength. Brian will make it clear what happens in our system when we go into overdrive and how some simple exercises and changing habits can help maintain energy, creativity and mental acuity.
