The lecture here is aimed broadly at school students and institutions in the teenage years, at risk as well as not at risk, and at the young people's parents/guardians with a focus on preventive efforts.

The lecture describes how quickly things can go wrong in a society with increasing trends in gang crime and the importance of calculating the consequences of the choices you make as a young person. Based on his own story, Ali talks about the choices he himself made as a teenager; about which factors applied and what consequences those decisions still have for him in his life today. During his personal story, guidance and advice is given on where to seek help and the importance of continuing to shout until you are heard. He knows, if anyone, how it feels to not be seen, heard and/or acknowledged. But he also believes, without a doubt, that repeated calls are nothing compared to the life that lies ahead if you don't do it. The lecture contains a completely unique learning about stopping in time, about calculating the consequences of the choices you make and about directing focus to the helpful places where the roads do not always end blindly.
