Om Stine Sara

Stine Sara has much more than a cat with wings. She has Lummer-Leo, who has a huge treasure chest with many more or less sober things in it. And sometimes you also get a unicorn with you when you come to lectures with Stine Sara. Stine Sara doesn't have a cat with wings, a friend called Leo or a unicorn, but Tourette's, which makes Stine Sara's body act up and her voice say things that she doesn't believe or realize exist. At least that's how it used to be - but recently it happened that Leo retired - the vocal tics simply disappeared after a lot of self-development and during an alternative treatment. However, Stine Sara still has Tourette's in the form of motor tics, so she now talks about life with Tourette's, which tools can be used to cope with life's challenges, and about what happens to you when part of your identity suddenly disappears into the blue. There will still be anecdotes from the time with Leo. Tourette is part of Stine Sara as a really attentive friend who has made her strong in the face of adversity. For Stine Sara, Tourette has never been associated with shame. The more the syndrome has taken over her reality, the more Stine Sara has had a need to talk about it, share knowledge and facts to create understanding and inclusiveness. And not least to point out that even if Tourette's takes over, you can follow your dreams. That is why Stine Sara signed up for the program "All Together Now" on Kanal5 as well as participating on various platforms and programs to talk about her Tourette Leo and how you can turn your challenge into a gift. Stine Sara is a fantastic singer, creative soul and articulate, which has meant that Stine Sara has come far and wide for interviews and participation in both articles, radio and TV programmes. Here, i.a. mention the DR program "Anderledes som mig" about Tourette, "Go'aften Danmark", "Afternoon Show", as well as various podcasts with e.g. Emil Thorup, Christian Fuhlendorff and others.
