Why is co-creation a successful source of innovation?

In the work with change, these years have seen an explosive use of co-creation as a source of successful innovations. But how does this co-creation constitute a successful source of innovation? How should such a process take place? What tasks does the goal of co-creation give to employees and managers? In this presentation, Lone Bak Strandgaard focuses on how co-creation can be achieved. In the innovation process, the task is to do away with previous understandings and to establish new patterns of thought and action. Through co-creation, a number of parties are involved in the development process. Together, with their different perspectives and interests, they can create the necessary breaks in existing logics. It provides a basis for new understandings and, not least, new innovative solutions. In addition to co-creation as a source of innovation, we also look at user-driven, employee-driven and collaboration-driven innovation. We look at how the concept of innovation can be practiced through these different innovation tools, as well as what driving forces and barriers are present in the process. The lecture thus provides insight into the central tools of the innovation process, as well as tools for how you can work with co-creation in practical innovation work.
