From reality to dream and home again

How do you achieve your dreams without losing yourself on the way to the top?

Remee tells her personal story, covering everything from dreams and the road to success, to getting greedy and failing, and finding yourself again. Already at the age of 10, Remee was interested in music and had big dreams of becoming a songwriter and singing her own songs in front of many people. He debuted at 15 as a rapper, and at 17 became a hit with the group Sound of Seduction. Subsequently, he made a living by writing and producing songs, but the lack of professionalism and pride that he experienced in the industry was lacking for Remee, which awakened the entrepreneur in him. He started the record company, the online magazine "Remee&Friends" and the holiday resort Oasis Club: “I felt great frustration at meeting people who were not passionate about what they were doing. I think that no matter what you do, you have to put love into it and do it with pride. The question is not what you get in your hands – your situation, your job, your life – but what you do with what you get. You can strive to be the world's most pleasant bum, the most service-minded taxi driver, or you can make the world's best sandwich. If you put in the effort, everything shines in its proper element”, says Remee. Remee has written several international hits for, among others, Jamelia, Robyn and S.O.A.P., and under his production and record company you will find names such as Brian Rice, Trolle/Siebenhaar and X-Factor Martin, Basim and Alien Beat Club. He started Denmark's first internet magazine Remee&Friends when he lacked a medium to publicize his initiatives. Subsequently, he lacked an exotic place to write songs, music videos, meet and gather his friends and therefore he started the Oasis Club in Alanya, Turkey. Together with partner Jacob Christensen, Remee has been named by Børsen as "Tomorrow's Leaders". For Remee, partnership means a lot. This is also seen in the form of his permanent co-songwriter Thomas Troelsen. However, he has also been involved in working communities that have resulted in failure, such as with Stein Bagger. This has taught him that if the motivation comes from greed, gluttony and haughtiness, things go wrong. This has meant that he focuses exclusively on the areas of work: artistry, lifestyle and media. "You shouldn't spread yourself over too much. It is important to look inward and find the reason for one's motivation and think about the balance of one's priorities. If the motivation smokes, so does the inspiration and joy of life. You have to get out of what you are not happy about. You get the best out of what you love. And you must know that it is necessary to network with like-minded people with whom you have chemistry and get along. Success is about love, dedication and the people you work with”, says Remee.
